Bear Hand Arts was established in 2017 by Lee Skopp. As an artist and storyteller, he began working with many clients to transform their ideas into reality, including Lacey Sturm’s (of the band Flyleaf) vision of creating a 144-video series. Serving businesses and creatives, Lee learned to work in both worlds. His diversity in experience shows in how he captures, edits, and completes a project.

Lee is not only a videographer, but also a photographer. His journey has taken him from rock stages and crowds to dreamy landscapes and abandoned, man-made structures. As he began to capture and catalog those images of the wilderness through photography, it was like finding a long-lost love he never knew he had. Though videography and photography both involve capturing images, they are vastly different worlds. Bear Hand Arts Photography was birthed to bring his love of photography to the forefront.

Metal Prints & Wall Hangings

Here you will find beautiful nature landscapes, urban exploration, and creatures on finely printed wall hangings. It is printed on aluminum, photo blocks, & giclée fine art prints. Have a look and enjoy your stay!

Leaves To Sky

Heaven's Wall

Mackinac Splash

“Pure Michigan” is true to this image. This Pure Munising Bay Overlook goes on and on. The colors are vivid, from the leaves on the forest floor preparing autumn for winter, to the cold, blue bay in the distance and the blue sky with purple hints. This image is soothing for the mind. Grand Island is off to the left and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore directly in the distance. It's a hiker's paradise.

Part of the great Grand Portal Archway caved in years ago, but the rest of the arch is still standing. The beautiful, ethereal mist was caused by the storm the night before. Alone and on a cliffside during a hike, it was just me, the portal, and God. I've never experienced nature in such beauty before, and every moment I think back on it, it's as if I'm still there. I named it Heaven's Wall because of a recurring dream I had as a child that this reminded me of.

A beautiful, stormy, new perspective of the Mackinac Bridge captured at The

Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse Park in Mackinaw City. It is the longest suspended bridge in the U.S.A.–longer than the Golden Gate–it connects Mainland Michigan to its Upper Peninsula. The dark clouds and choppy waves over this 5 mile gap where Lake Michigan & Lake Huron meet is strikingly

captured as a wave is breaking onto a rock, leaving nature's rawness frozen in time.

Send The Signal

Ascend Into The Light

Forgotten Rails

“Send the Signal” is an ominous, chilling piece. It has been a desire of mine to capture things that cannot be explained with a simple phrase or description until it is seen. During long, late night drives under the stars in the countryside, my eyes would catch the glowing of the power lines from an unseen car over the other side of a hill. For that simple, quick moment, the power lines looked like silver and gold lightning. It has finally been captured and is a special piece to me.

The SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA (a.k.a. Christmas City, USA) is an iconic skyline. After the factory was retired years ago, ArtsQuest, along with other businesses,

repurposed this relic of the past. It is now an outdoor museum and event center, hosting events such as Musikfest (the nation's largest free music festival).

“Forgotten Rails” is a train/trolly enthusiast's dream. 10 miles from

Johnstown, PA, this is where a fan of the past bought and stored his retired trains in

hopes of making them like new. Due to graffiti and vandalism, he has closed it off to the public.
